Customized yoga classes and workshops for organizations, small groups, and individuals

Yoga to Support Organizational / Employee Wellness

Is your organization or business looking for ways to support employee well-being? There are many ways to make high quality yoga available to your workforce.

  • Book a class or workshop for a company retreat.
  • Offer employees private classes.
  • Reach out and we can work together to figure out how to make yoga available to individuals or groups who are interested.

Private & Small Group Yoga

Yoga can be an excellent preventative and expansive healthcare practice for individuals already in good health and it can also be a great complement to conventional medical care.

  • Private yoga sessions can be customized to meet individual needs.
  • Private classes reduce some of the barriers to attending public yoga classes, such as self-consciousness, schedule, and degree of class difficulty.

Yoga for Writers

Sitting for hours at a computer can take a toll on your body. There are many yoga poses anyone can do, even while seated at a desk, to improve the writing experience. Yoga not only helps strengthen muscles and bones, but it also strengthens the nervous system, which can be helpful throughout the writing process.

  • Book a yoga class or workshop for your writer's conference, retreat, or festival
  • Classes and workshops can be designed as an inclusive well-being support to offer attendees
  • Classes and workshops can be tailored to specific groups (e.g. non-fiction/memoir writers)

Community Yoga

Every Saturday at 11:30 am I offer a Yoga Fundamentals class based on the Ashtanga yoga system at the beautiful Astoria Arts & Movement Center here in Astoria, Oregon. No pre-registration is required. The first class is free to try, and after that it is $10 for a drop-in class or $60 for a ten-class punch card. This class is a moderately strong flow and is aimed at introducing a well-rounded foundational sequence to anyone interested.  It is recommended you bring your own mat, but if needed there are used mats to borrow & new mats to purchase. Reach out with questions and I look forward to seeing you in class. Follow me on Instagram and Facebook for updates on other classes, events, new blog posts, and other happenings.
